Acrylic paint is personally my favorite type of paints because surprisingly it is one of the easiest paints to do easy "on-coat" strokes. Acrylic paints was the last form of paints to be discovered. Acrylic was found in the 19th century by a German chemist by the name of Otto Rohm. When Otto found this he used the acrylic for industrial uses such as binding. For years that was what acrylic was always used for.
In the early 20th century Mexican Muralists began using acrylics for murals and since then acrylic paints have been dedicated to pop art or even abstract art because of the easy strokes and full coverage unlike water or oil paints.
